karma hit me hard and strong this morning, and I'll tell you about it:
yesterday I was supposed to meet Jill at 7pm, but I didn't go because I thought the plan was "tentative", but still - I should have called to say I wasn't going - and then she waited for me AND THEN THIS MORNING - I got stood up by my hairdresser! the day of the wedding! Not my wedding, but Matt & Mona's wedding. I was just going to get my bangs cut and my hair straightened, so it's no huge deal, but STILL! I had to laugh about it while I stomped down the street. STOOD UP! Jesus.
I am so tired, but for no real reason.
Holly & I had a major power shop after work yesterday and it took 3 hours. Then I went to MING for Bil's Birthday Party, and I just was so tired. There was lot's of good people there, but I only talked to Andrea, Bob & Glenn. I had a shot and 1/2 of a JANE GOODALL, and then went home.
Today I have to miss the church part of the wedding (normally I'd be gleeful about that, but this time I wouldn't have minded getting a little teary for Matt & Mona...)(also, I'll bet Mona's dress will be so awesome because she always has the best fashions!)but I am leaving work as early as possible so I can get ready for the reception? Is that what the dinner/speech/dance part is called? the reception? so many confusing wedding terms.
Holly & I tried on the most fantastic shoes last night, and we were both going to get them, but then we didn't, and now it's my #1 regret.
This morning we were giving away free passes to some movie about horror/sharks/water/? and you should have seen the piles of fucked up people that lined up at 9am to wait until we opened at 10am JUST so that they could get a measley free pass to a fucking movie. I was truly disgusted, and that is what made me in a bad mood.
Core-Upt Mike is in a bad mood too, which is sort of exciting because normally he's all sparkly and fresh... weird. Josh is still drunk, and Justin keeps dropping things.
If there is one thing that I would love to do everyday, it's dance with Justin. We have started an Interpretive Dance Troupe, and we're awesome. I think our dance to TIME AFTER TIME by Cyndi Lauper may have been the best, but this morning to Solomon Burke was pretty awesome too.
